Profile: Timothy Hayden is a freelance journalist, who covered hard-hitting beach volleyball action in Cancun, Mexico, and spring break in Miami Beach and the Gulf Coast
from 2003-2006. Last summer, he covered the Eastern Division NBA playoffs live from in front of his 42" flat screen TV and wrote an "on-the-road" article about the OzFest tour which is still under consideration by numerous national and international publishers.
Hayden is an expert beer taster, and is also a gourmet chef, with several nearly-published cookbooks including, "Ribs My Way," "Not Just Any Nachos," and "EZ Meals for Eating Over the Sink."
Almost graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Hayden transferred in his junior year to the University of Hawaii due to creative differences with UW's Disciplinary Board of Review. (Conveniently Hawaii was also out of the Madison Police Department's legal jurisdiction.)
Hayden continues to write from his parents apartment in Mauna Loa, and at his girlfriend's place in Washington D.C.
