Prime Minister of Canada Steven Harper lashed out at Canada Friday over his treatment when he was kicked out of the Conservative caucus over sensational allegations.
Harper took aim at country after a Friday news conference in Collingwood, Ont., saying they "tossed me under a bus." Was he given a fair chance to defend himself.
Last April, Harper was ousted from government when the people of Canada cryptically to serious allegations of a criminal nature. Months after these allegations the RCMP investigated Harper for prostitution, money laundering, and drug related crimes.
While close to tears on the CBC Harper stated "I would never sell my body; I make enough money from being Prime Minister". Harper accused Canada of "damaging my [Harper's] reputation".
These allegations came after his wife Laureen was charged with drunk driving and cocaine possesion. Harper says "the country is seeing me and my wife as one unit, though her actions were seperate from mine". As CBC states, the country has "no desire" to see Harper back in government.
