Vatican City - Pope Benedict XVI has given his blessings for holy water to be used in bongs. Many devout Roman Catholics also smoke marijuana. They believe smoking a bong with holy water will lead to a union with God.
"Yes, of course yes! Religion and marijuana have always gone together!" said the pope. "Why do you think they burn incense in churches!" he laughed out loud. He sucked on a nearby bong and talked some more.
"Just last night, I smoked a few hits with some of this Vatican holy water in my bong, and you'll never guess what happened..." said the pope. "I danced the frickin' tango with the Virgin Mary!" he boasted.
The pope says he spends a lot of his time now just blessing water. It is for his own use, and for a new side business he has.
"I sell bottles of Vatican holy water on Abay. Try some in your own bong, and see if you like it!" he exclaimed. "I have to sell a lot of it, I'm expecting major legal expenses."
