Oslo, Norway - Julian Assange has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2010. Nobel judges were unanimous in their praise of the Wikileaks founder, and lauded him for his bravery and valor. Many of the judges compared him to Mahatma Ghandi, or George Washington.
"He stands for his values, and he is putting his ass on the line, so I respect that." said Judge Newt Gingrich. "Anyone who does that deserves a special prize." he snickered.
"Mr. Assange isn't afraid to take a stand, so he merits the Nobel Prize." said Judge Hillary Clinton. "The ends justifies the means." she said with a smirk.
The judges all noted that this year's Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded outside the gates of Gitmo this year, along with the $200,000.00 prize money.
"Come to Cuba, come to Gitmo!" laughed Hillary Clinton. "Come and collect your just desserts!" she cackled.
