SANTIAGO, CHILE - ABC Sud America has announced its intention to produce a Chilean version of the world-wide hit franchise, "Dancing With The Stars," entitled "Baile Con Las Estrellas De Las Mineras Cobre."

Before production can begin, the miners must agree to all contract provisions, which are rumored to include being able to stand for more than five minutes at a time, endure disorienting studio lights without sunglasses and not kill any of the paparazzi.

A little-known fact of the miners' ordeal is that they ballroom-danced for 15 minutes each day to aid in blood circulation. The dancing was also to be used as a distraction mechanism after rescue, for those men who had both wives and mistresses awaiting them topside.

Dances on the show are rumored to include the Argentine tango, the Chilean tango, the Chilean rhumba, the Colombian hippy-hippy shake, the Brazilian wax-off and the Venezuelan horizontal humpa.

Production, of course, will be delayed by the miners' recovery to full health and subsequent scheduled appearances on 293 talk shows world-wide.
