image for 18 months too late - China media borrows TheSpoof.com writer shea lo's article on Inibanistan and gives it a jihadi spindian monkeys fighting in Tal

NEW YORK: On 5 December 2009 TheSpoof.com writer shea lo reported: "India uses highly trained monkey squads to dismantle bombs in Afghanistan".

The article stated that India had taken its Security-Cooperation partnership with the US to a new level and was sending highly developed, militarily-trained monkey squads to Afghanistan to assist in bomb dismantling.

Unnamed military strategists in both countries had confirmed this mission. A grateful US top ranking general re-iterated the importance of this mission stating before international media:

"These are highly intelligent simians, trained in all sorts of espionage activities including tactical and guerilla warfare...their small paws and well-articulated digits are indispensable in dismantling bombs and saving our soldiers lives".

Because of restricted Internet access the Chinese media appears to have only now discovered this story. Facing a major offensive this summer the bad dude jihadi guys have appropriated this headline and fed it to the Chinese media giving it their own 'spin'. So 18 months after shea lo's original article - China's official voice is now reporting that US-led forces fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan will encounter gun-toting jihadi monkeys.

Of course NATO officials and military experts have scoffed at this report in the Chinese media clarifying that it was shea lo in Spoof.com who reported the actual truth and the China media is simply regurgitating a jihadi spin. NATO officials further confirmed that the India-US mission was using highly evolved chimps and not the mischievous rogue rhesus variety pictured in the Chinese media.

NATO commander Vander Foggy Ramshackle said: "I'd take this Chinese 'story' with a bit of soy ;) nudge-nudge, wink-wink. Trust Spoof.com. It's where you will always get the spoof, the whole spoof and nothing but the spoof. Remember Spoof.com, that's where you heard it first!"

Make shea lo's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
