The Loftus Versfeld stadium is in serious danger of collapse if too many Vuvuzela horns are brought to the South Africa v Uruguay game tonight.
Structural engineers have stated that the resonance of the deafening horns is strong enough to set up a vibration that could 'break-off' parts of the viewing area - similar to an opera singer shattering glass with her voice.
Another concern is that the drone could weaken the stadiums foundations sending the football ground skidding down an embankment into a nearby game reserve.
Massimo Busacca who is refereeing the 20.30 GMT kick-off said "There is no way the match can be played with spectators lives at risk or any of the 'big five' game animals on the pitch."
