Light Green Plants Reflect More Sunlight

In a report published this week, world experts revealed that planting crops helped reduce the effects of global warming. During months of looking at the shape and color of tree leaves, scientists were able to determine that lighter colored leaves reflected more of the sun's light back into space than ordinary plain black dirt.

One interesting finding in this study reveals that golden waves of grain are actually more than the start of a nutritious sandwich, as they also reflect more sunlight than would, say, a forest of pine trees.

When asked whether this finding was merely repeating what was already known about the properties of heat and light, researchers announced free doughnuts in the other room.
