image for Boom Time USA! 1000's Job's 100's Factories!
Rush to Boomtown

Tens of Thousands are flocking to one American city which has defied the economic gloom and is booming. This beacon of hope for a new prosperity is a once small but now rapidly expanding city in America's mid west.

Newspapers and TV scream the headlines daily, Thousands of jobs in Jeopardy. In the booming '90's there were few jobs in Jeopardy, but how times have changed. Mayor of Jeopardy, T.Boon Pickpocket told our correspondent "We can barely cope, the headlines speak for themselves, there are millions of jobs in Jeopardy, thousands of factories, whole industries, and a new massive banking centre". On another bright note the booming population has resulted in numerous marriages in Jeopardy as well as many families.

The city of Jeopardy was established in 1926 and was modelled on the British town of Peril.
Peril, Lincolnshire, is a large and ancient Borough, Its Cathedral is in Great Peril, and it has a port area established by ancient mariners known as "Peril-on-the-Sea"

Many years ago a great plague sadly almost wiped out the port, resulting in the old hymm, still sung to this day, entitled, "For those in Peril on the Sea'

Like Jeopardy, Peril is again enjoying boom times, most will have seen the media reports of jobs in Peril, Industries in Peril etc.

Peril fortunately, has millions of new opportunities. The recently opened Scatch mine is the largest resource of its type in the world. The Scratch market is vast and ever expanding. Houses can of course be built from Scratch, whole careers can be started from Scratch. It is a well known fact that all major industries today, started somewhere from Scratch.

So be prepared, the next chapter in the economic meltdown may well see you and your family in Jeopardy or Peril, and starting again from Scratch.
