image for Sunroofs recalled due to possible Jacob's Ladder defect, resulting in an assassination hazard for leaders of democratic reforms abroad
Benazir Bhutto the latest political leader to climb Jacob's Ladder while reaching for democracy

Islamabad, Pakistan - The manufacturers of sunroofs issued an international recall of their sunroof product line today, citing an unforeseeable hazard of political assassination of foreign leaders pressing for democratic reforms abroad. Inexplicably, when one fighting for democratic principles in their country sticks their head and torso through the sunroof and suddenly withdraw, it can, at times, result in head trauma resulting in serious injury and even death followed by automatic gunfire and a suicide bombing.

"We urge all peoples fighting for democratic reforms in neo-fascist or theocratic based states not to use their sunroofs as it may result in their immediate death to the user and those around them in the immediate vicinity," read a statement by sunroof manufacturers.

They strongly advise leaders pressing for democratic reforms in their country to literally keep their heads down, while traveling in motor pools outfitted with sunroofs.

"That is until such times as they can be rendered safe by being retrofitted with bullet, and blast proof, protective domes," said a spokesman for the sunroof industry.

Owners of vehicles equipped with sunroofs are eligible to have their sunroof sealed at no expense or may opt for a life dome, similar to that of the Pope Mobile at an additional expense.

Simply return your vehicles to the dealership where you purchase them, said a spokesperson for the sunroof industry. And be prepared for more bloodshed and heartache, as it may take more time and lives for the spark of democracy to catch fire.
