Missing aviator Steven Fossett has been spotted at a popular ski resort in the Nepal Himalayas.
While nobody was able to actually speak to him, sources close to the reporter who photographed a man in pink, claim Fossett gave him the finger as he ski'd away, a signature trade mark Fossett has enjoyed giving reporters for years.
"Of course it could still have been a look a like who knew of Stevens "signature" signal to reporters getting too close without permission," said Sam Donaldson, "But hell he doesn't care, obviously he wants his space, thus the disappearance."
The official government search for Fossett has ended, but some wonder if this couldn't be an Elvis like ploy by Fossett, so he can enjoy some privacy in his later years. Sam Donaldson agrees with this reporter. "Oh absolutely Jean, I think you've hit the nail on the head, this is a man who gave his life to dreaming big and accomplishing what others had given up on. These days he could hardly fart without a dozen reporters being there to describe it, so why not disappear?"
Cokie Roberts rebutted Donaldson's comments,"Jean Sam doesn't have a clue, he's never once spoken to Fossett, he has alzheimers and spends a lot of time pretending he's Walter Cronkite. Jesus! If I had a dime for every time he's said 'And that's the way it is...' it makes me want to punch him every time, he's that bad."
And that's the way it is...good night and good news.
Just to reiterate, this story is not true. It would be truly brilliant if it were true, but sadly, Steve is likely lost forever. Steve's family and friends are in all our hearts and minds and we must be truly thankful for this man who is an inspiration for us all.
