Geneva (IP) - The Nobel Peace Prize is being given to so many folks these days that it has been decided to issue them via cereal boxes.

Little Johnny F. Jones placed a thermometer outside of his front porch and sent the daily temperature readings via the internet to a temperature report collecting station.

He was told to go to the grocery store and buy a box or two of Chex Rice Cereal and sure enough he reached inside and pulled out a Nobel Peace Prize.

Johnny's mom had to throw out the cereal after Johnny stuck his fetid little hands through all of that cereal but she said it was worth while. "My little Johnny is finally going to amount to something".

This same thing was repeated in thousands of locations and the Prizes have become so common place that they are often found laying in the road or in trash piles. It is almost as if there is not as much meaning attached to the once coveted prize.

A new trend may be evolving in that banks are now issuing Nobel Peace Prizes to anyone who opens a checking account. A few years ago they would hand out bread toasters. Some observers are speculating that soon all that will have to be done to obtain a Peace Prize is for people to simply just print one up on their computers.

Make drugtestallpoliticians's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
