image for Blair and Bush to launch Reality TV show
"I wish we'd been boys together"

British Prime Minister Tony Blair and American President George W Bush plan to team up to present a new reality TV show next year. The show provisionally titled "So you want to be a world leader……" and will take place after Mr Bush leaves office in 2008.

Contestants will be given challenges set by the two statesmen. They will have to demonstrate sound judgement and leadership qualities, but also be able to lie and mislead the press sufficiently to convince a sceptical public. Each week there will be a telephone vote to boot out the 3 worst candidates. Mr Blair and Mr Bush will then 'save' one contestant each. The winner of the show is expected to be a smooth-tongued, lying scumbag, not afraid to start a nuclear war if their political future is at risk.

Their on screen double-act will be light-hearted, somewhere between "Morecombe & Wise" and "Ant & Dec". A spokesman for Mr Blair informed The Spoof that he had always got on well with Mr Bush, and wanted to show that their special relationship went beyond their time in office.

Make Mongrel's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
