image for White House denounces Carter/Peace.
Hey! Where the war at?

Such bitter exchanges are rare between an incumbent US president and one of his predecessors, analysts say but that is exactly what is happening here.

Jimmy Carter was US president from 1977 to 1981. He won the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize for decades of work towards peace and economic justice.

George W Bush has been pushing for more confrontations than any other world leader of late and The White House has dismissed former US President Jimmy Carter as "increasingly irrelevant"

The message they are sending is loud and clear, peace is irrelevant and war is what we require right now.

A white house spokesperson said "we are doing this for the good of the economy, war is good for business. It creates more jobs due to people dying, bullets need to be made, guns need to be shipped, everyone has a part to play and wars don't fight themselves you know"
