CCN (Crazy Cal News) - The "Internets" - National Review White House Correspondent, Byron York, did his level best to put a bad spin on the Ron Paul interview after the Republican debate at the University of South Carolina. He tried to make Ron Paul look as bad as possible by misrepresenting the tones of quotes, and even referred to Rosie O'Donnell, trying to make Ron Paul look bad.
Unfortunately for him, Byron York forgot about YouTube where people could actually see and hear for themselves what actually went on. (see Ron Paul Attacked by Sean Hannity After 2nd GOP Debate)
Faux News is reportedly enticing Mr. York with job offers and Mr. York seems to be courting them heavily. It's surprising that he had the courage to post the following comment by Ron Paul in his article,
It all started when Paul was asked how September 11 changed American foreign policy. "Have you ever read the reasons they attacked us?" Paul answered. "They attack us because we've been over there; we've been bombing Iraq for ten years "
Questioner Wendell Goler, of Fox News, asked, "Are you suggesting we invited the 9/11 attack, sir?"
"I'm suggesting that we listen to the people who attacked us and the reason they did it," Paul said. "They don't come here to attack us because we're rich and we're free. They come and they attack us because we're over there."
"Aren't you afraid that posting a common sense statement by Ron Paul might hurt your case," asked TheSpoof.com reporter Cal Jennings.
"When you want to make the big bucks and appear on national TV, you have to take chances," said Byron York. "Besides, I think I put a bad enough slant on it that people won't notice that it makes sense."
