Shiite flight from inner cities of Iraq

In a bizarre return to US domestic relations of the 1950's, Iraq is undergoing an amazingly similar phenomenon. Calling it Shiite Flight, Iraqi Shiites are moving away from the cities of Iraq because of the influx of American soldiers.

Abdul Hussein remarked to the local Baghdad Bugle: "I don't know about you but I do not want to raise my children around these people. They all dress the same in those strange blotchy tan clothes."

Hussein's wife, Kalipha, added: "And they carry all kinds of weapons out in the open!'

Other complaints about the new American immigrants are that they eat food out of strange pouches and listen to all kinds of odd music. Others added that they do not practice the one , true faith and they drive around in really noisy gigantic vehicles. "Do you want your children marrying these outsiders?", queried Sadamm Safyani.

Suburban areas outside of Iraqi cities are beginning to fill up with the Shiite Flight refugees. One new housing development called Levittown is offering ranch - style 3 bedroom homes to the anxious new suburbanites.

"It's strange. At first, I thought I was living on the set of ET ", Anwar Rahimm quipped, "But after a while it became quite comfortable. Little league replaced stick ball and the swimming pools were a lot better than the old city fire hydrants".

"Best of all!", added his wife, Canditha, "We can put our heads on the pillow at night and not worry about those terrible Americans shooting us or marrying our children."
