image for Edward Snowden to bunk up with Julian Assange in Ecuador's London embassy
Lucky Assange fast asleep in his central London hidey hole today

Washington DC - US Justice department officials are flying to London to serve extradition papers on NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden who is rumored to have arrived at the Ecuadorean embassy where Julian Assange has been holed up for nearly a year.

A fly-by-night game of cat and mouse saw Snowden, 69, reported to have touched down in Moscow on an Aeroflot flight from Hong Kong this morning.

However FBI agents reckon this was just a lookalike and that Snowden - son of Princess Margaret's ex-husband Viscount Snowden, aka Sir Anthony Armstrong Jones - slipped into London on a Panamanian banana boat before hotfooting it to Basil Street, London SW3, where the Ecuador legation is situated.

Conditions are notoriously cramped in the Knightsbridge embassy building with Assange complaining on a daily basis that his Human Frights are being breached by the lack of a swimming pool, tanning salon and other essential beauty facilities.

Still, the WikiLeaks founder's notoriously solitary existence may now be cheered by Snowden's presence in the lonely basement bunker which British cops are guarding on a 24/7 basis.

Next month the two fugitives from justice can expect a humanitarian visit from the Queen's Disaster Tourist Prince Edward, himself a scion of the Armstrong-Jones line of accomplished old cons.

Commenting on this evening's headlines Ecuador President Rafael Correa said an emphatic 'WTF??' to QM-NewsCorpse reporters tonight.
