An important German Shepherd competition took place last Friday at the Telus Center. The Torontonian German community gathered and prepared for the show that had been planned for three months. German Canadian Congress, GCA, had flown in groups from Germany to perform in the show.
Anyone interested in Toronto was also invited to join in the competition. A few hours into the competition a Toronto native showed up with his German Shepherd. He lead the dog, nick-named Sheps to the registration table when he received a cold looks from passer-byers. The woman at the table brutally asked him "Do you think bringing you German Shepherd is a funny joke."
Little did the man know that the competition was for German folk who happened to be Shepherds.
