Exasperated doctors are getting tough on anorexic patients in New South Wales.

Physicians at Cairns General Hospital have come up with a new way of dealing with anorexic patients who refuse to eat; they themselves will become food in a new tough love approach to the disease.

The new concept is the idea of resident Doctor, Hapert Singh.
"I believe that this new method will shock anorexic patients into finally eating. I know it may sound harsh, even cruel, but when faced with the choice of eat or be eaten I am positive that sufferers will see sense and chose the former."

Relatives of anorexic patients though are not sure if Doctor Singh's methods are ethical or if they will work.

"I know he means well and all" said Sam Alzbetkin, whose daughter is a patient of Singh's "But really, crocodiles are a menace in this area, all he is doing is encouraging them, I hope he reconsiders, has he considered feeding Wallabies?"
