Sadie and Zsa Zsa are typical old girls

Paris - The Francis Holland School's motto 'That our daughters may be as the polished corners of the Temple' is something of a puzzle the Elysee Palace said today.

But it does nothing to dispel the 'champagne socialist' tag about President Francois Hollande whose educational namesake charges thirty grand a year.

Generations of successful alumna include the author Jackie Collins and her actress sister Joan; fellow thespians Emilia Fox, Sienna Miller, Amber Agar and Amanda Donohoe as well as Z-lister celebs Petra and Tamara Ecclestone, violinist Vanessa Mae, novelist Elizabeth Jane Howard, pointless vapid socialite Jemima Khan and equally daft minor royal Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones.

Monsieur Hollande's own children went to French state schools according to a party website extolling the family's affairs.

Last year his former partner and mother of all four Hollande kids Ségolène Royal rose to UKroyal wedding fame after observers pointed out her uncanny facial resemblance to Backside-of-the-Year Pippa Middleton.

The twenty-something socialte was papped last month cavorting with all kinds of Parisian druggy types, one of whom waved a Glock pistol from his open top car slap bang in the middle of the 16th arrondissement.

Allegedly.

Next week Francois Hollande will be sworn in as his country's new leader in a ceremony replete with much spurious pomp.

New squeeze Valérie Trierweile will be standing beside him in an expensive haute couture suit costing roughly the same as one year's school fees at the London establishment.

Which only goes to show that all politics is crap and the French lead the way in double standard daftness.

General De Gaulle has a lot to answer for.
