Grammy-award-winning star Buju Banton has been sentenced to 10 years in jail in the US for his role in setting up a cocaine deal in 2009.
The singer, whose real name is Mark Myrie, was told at Tampa federal court that he must serve five years' probation following prison.
However, Banton is so upbeat he's almost in a coma.
"This is great news, man! I mean, talk about a rapper wearing a badge! This is the kind of publicity money can't buy! I mean, I've wanted every mother-fucker to know I'm a dealer just by driving a big, prestige BMW, but getting caught with the shit's done my rep nuttin' but good."
He does appear to be right. Hollywood are clamouring to cover the story, already dubbing it 'Chocolate and the Charlie Factory'.
