image for Marv Albert To Weiner: You Should Have At Least Worn Panties
Say It Isn't You Marv

Before the arrest of Marv Albert in 1997, he was at the top of his professional career, working for NBC doing NBA and NFL broadcasts. The end for Albert came when he picked up the morning paper and saw his name attached to the following words; panties, garters and woman's hairpiece.

Hardly what you would expect from a man who could caustically interview the likes of Dennis Rodman and Mike Ditka, the cross-dressing Albert was fired by NBC and left the world of sport with a bag over his head. Since then, he was rehired by NBC and became the voice of the New Jersey Nets in 2005.

And now, with fellow New Yorker Anthony Weiner going through the same type of disgrace, Albert dismisses any comparison because, as he points out:

"I was at least wearing panties to cover my private parts. That being so, I doubt that Weiner will ever be able to go back to politics. However, after a few months of exile, he should be able to get a job with CNN like Eliot Spitzer."

Make Dr. Billingsgate's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
