The news media came in swarms this past week when Sarah Palin's bus arrived in New Hampshire. The first question shouted by a reporter from Politico was, "Governor, did you come here to step on Mitt Romney's announcement for president or is it just a coincidence?" Ms. Palin gave a chuckle and then winked,"Of course not. I came here on a vacation with Todd and the children. Can't you see the bus? Isn't this fun? Is Mitt really here?"

A journalist from the Washington Post shouted out, "Sarah, Mr. Romney is just a few blocks away, are you going to see him and what do you think of him as a presidential candidate?"

Palin smiled sweetly and hugged her grandchild, "Oh, anyone can run for president if they are born in this country and meet the age requirements. If Mitt says he is qualified, that is enough for me. Has Romney always been his last name?"

The reporter followed up: "Sarah, is that all you have to say about Mr. Romney?"

Palin: "Well, yes. I really do think he is a sweet boy. How is that Mormon thing going for him? It should do really well in South Carolina."

"What about Tim Pawlenty?" shouted out another journalist.

Palin chuckled winked and rolled her eyes, "Oh Michele B. has got that one. A little snip here, a little snip there, she should have them hanging over her rear vision mirror by the end of the week!"

In related news, Mitt Romney was asked his reaction to the Palin trip to New Hampshire and her remarks, "Oh that Sarah," said Romney. "She's the funny one," and conspicuously put his hands in his pockets.
