Oakland, Ca. - After his latest Rapture prediction failed to take him to Heaven, Rev. Harold Camping decided to plan a trip of his own, to Vegas.
Found seated at the Roulette table in Caesars Palace, with a show girl in one hand and a rum and coke in the other, Harold decided that considering the worlds dark days ahead, he'd put it all on black. Where did he get the money? Yeah, you guessed it, donations.
Waging a bet that was double or nothing Harold said he was going to pay everyone back that donated money to his church when he won.
Did he win? NopeĀ
Apparently Harold can't win at predicting anything. When asked what he would do next Harold said, "Well there's always the penny slots."
Perhaps in an effort to gain some high level tips on successful disappearing acts, Harold bought a couple tickets to a hot magic show called "Believe". Who do you suppose is going as his date? Right, a beautiful show girl.
As one observer reported, "A hot show, a hot date, that is as close to heaven as old Harold is ever going to get."
