image for Ghost of Che Guevara Appears at Wisconsin Protest Site
Walker the Walk, Talker the Talk

Protesters in Madison, Wisconsin are reporting numerous sightings of Che Guevara, the Latin American hero who fought, during his entire adult life, against economic inequities both in his home country of Argentina and abroad.

One protester carrying a sign that read "Got Che?" claims that she was turning around to talk to a fellow protester when, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Che Guevara winking at her and giving her the "thumbs up" signal. "I just about fainted," said Clarice Walker, no relation to Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker.

Other protesters are coming forward with similar stories. "He seems to target protesters who carry messages he approves of such signs as 'Walker the Walk, and Talker the Talk,'" said Mildred Pierce, who admitted she had no clue what the sign implied.

Some protesters are attributing the appearance of Guevara to a Bolivian souvenir vendor who has set up his stand close to the Capitol Building and has just now started selling Che Guevara t-shirts. "When he just offered "Imperial Walker" t-shirts with Scott Walker's face on them, there were no ghost sightings," said an unidentified protester. "But now it seems Che is all over the place."
