image for President Obama to have White House re-painted and re-named
Maybe soon the building behind him will be beige

News that President Obama has decided to have The White House re-painted and re-named has just been released.

President Obama issued a statement today that he DOES want to have the White House re-painted and re-named as, in his opinion, the present name and colour smacks of racism.

When asked what colour he had in mind he told reporters, at a quickly pulled-together press conference, that he has been looking at paint swatches for months and has now decided upon a colour named 'Coffee Caramel' which he believes will be acceptable to the voting public.
He admitted he had wanted to change the colour and name the minute he became president but waited until he had his size 26 feet firmly 'under the table' at The White House.

"I do believe," Obama began, "that 2011 should see many changes for the good, beginning with the re-painting and re-naming of this house. For too long has it been The White House, which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. Surely the public can understand where I am coming from. A beige colour is more acceptable in this day and age.

"As for the 'new' name, I am open to suggestions and will be meeting with top writers from The Spoof to help me in the decision making process.

"I have also decided to hire the top five Spoof Writers to write my speeches, as long as I remain in office. I love their work and they can't be any worse than the 'speech writers' presently in my employ.

"Also, they work for free and so this decision of mine will save the American people many dollars."

At this point the President waved to the press and returned to his private quarters as he said he was 'on a promise from Michelle'.
