Chicago, IL-- Local community organizer Barry Soetoro has become the first Democrat to run for president in 2012. Mr. Soetoro plans to run on a promise of 'Change and Hope' and to change Washington DC forever. Mr. Soetoro announced his candidacy to cheering supporters. He also had some harsh words for the current president.
"Change and hope are on the way! President Obama is doing George Bush's third term, and that has to stop!" he yelled.
Mr. Soetoro also wanted to assure supporters that he is not Barack Obama.
"Those who say I look like President Obama are racist! They think we all look alike!" he shouted to supporters with a big smile on his face.
Mr. Soetoro also said it was "a complete coincidence" that his wife is also named Michelle, and that they have two daughters.
"Don't listen to conservative lies! Change and Hope is all the way, and you can take that to the bank!" he promised.
