image for Man Votes, but Wonders Why
What the hell am I doing here?

Duluth, WI--Jack Rome, a factory worker, is wondering why he voted.

"I feel like I should vote, but I really wish I had more options. Ron Johnson made his money by marrying into a rich family, and Scott Walker scammed Milwaukee. Yet, it seemed like everyone wanted those clowns to win their races." Mr. Rome said to an AP reporter.

"I can remember when you knew who you were voting for, but right now the political parties seem to be the same, because they both increase the size of government without any plans for paying for their spending." Mr. Rome said.

Mr. Rome isn't alone in his thoughts. Most Americans feel that their voices aren't being heard, because politicians run on a platform, but end up voting in favor of major corporations.

"I understand why Mr. Rome feels the way he does. I promise to change the way Washington is run. I will make sure the Bush Tax Cuts stay, I will make cuts to programs like Medicare and Social Security, and I will make sure that I get a pay raise. Just like voters wanted." Ron Johnson told supporters.
