North Americans who log onto European websites are amazed at the coverage given to a "Raoul Moat", who apparently broken the Cardinal Rule in Europe by actually touching a firearm.
Police say Raoul Moat, a water-filled fortification usually surrounding a castle, is believed to have shot three people, killing one.
The search for Moat has extended to the incredibly gay-sounding citites of "Britney Tyne and Wear," "Northumberland," and "Winchestertonfieldville."
"The guy is being referred to as a 'gun maniac' because she shot 3 people," said the incredibly insensitive wife of this reporter. "I don't mean to make light of what he's done, but that many people were shot at my class reunion."
