George W. Bush is said to be "doing well" after undergoing a four-hour operation to remove his brain. Bush, 63, is currently relaxing at St. Vincent's Hospital, New York City, and is expected to be discharged later today.
The former President has donated his ping-pong ball sized brain to the medical research unit of Rockefeller University. Professor Tim Phillips, who will be using Bush's brain in pioneering research, said: "This is a welcome act of generosity. Some say that the former President may end up regretting giving away his brain, but I think he'll get by fine without it. After all, he hasn't used it for twenty years."
Bush also intends to do his bit for world hunger when he dies by donating his body to a well-known burger chain.
