image for Why Presidents Adopt A Certain Swagger The Second Term

A think tank located in the mountains of West Virginia, to throw everyone off, have been given the task of discovering the reason Presidents of the United States who get elected to their second term have such a way of walking, a certain swagger if you will, during their second term.

Ralph Perkins Howard, leader of Team A reported that after much study of old films and going on field trips to Washington during the Bush presidency, his group think that it's because they become more sure of themselves.

"It's like 'I'm the man and we'll do thing the way I say, not some adviser who's been here six months. They just develop their ego to the point that they MUST be right because, were they not elected twice?"

However, Percy Champion III of Team B thinks it's the exact opposite.

"They don't care. It's simple. They have placed all their weight behind all their projects during the first term and seen if they work or not. Either way it has gone, they know the American people still elected them for a second term and their projects are gone."

"They spend the next four years celebrating, attending conferences with world leader after world leader, they then try to make a name for themselves by starting some charity to help the unfortunate, they have themselves photographed at each stop and they concentrate on 'Their Legacy'!"

"It's neither or both", stated Carolyn Armstrong Custer, head of Team C.

"The simple truth is that, although both Team A and Team B have their points, the main reason we have found that the Presidents walk with much more of a swagger in their second term is that their balls have grown to twice their normal size over their years in office."
