The Cake Is A Lie

Los Angeles, CA - Concerned individuals wanting more information regarding the deaths of former NFL Quarterback Steve McNair and his friend, Saleh Kazemi, are finding themselves caught in a web of deceit and betrayal that is the simple online game, Rabbit Wants Cake.

Flash game reviewer, Martin Cheswick states, "So this game, Rabbit Eats Cake, it's very reminiscent of the first version of Mario Bros. except there are no brothers here. It's just this rabbit with an antenna sticking out of his back. And you have to get this rabbit to where he's in a position to eat this cake."

"But unlike traditional video games, you actually have to program your moves into the rabbit, rather than direct him to go where you want him to at any given time. So it becomes very compelling to people. They have to think about what they perceive is going to happen."

"As to why people are attracted to this kind of thing is pretty obvious. Being able to program a rabbit to eat a piece of cake is pretty empowering, especially when, in times of distress, people want to feel empowered, and they also want to be able to have a piece of cake, too. So that's a bonus."

So why don't people just go grab a real piece of cake?

"Well...perhaps they're not so empowered as to unsuction their faces from the computer screen. Hopefully that will happen by dinnertime."

So why do people end up playing Rabbit Eats Cake when they're actually interested in this McNair tragedy?

"Look. I don't know. Ok? I'm not a flippin' socioligist. I review stupid online flash video games. Besides, the cake is a lie."
