WHOVILLE - The Grinch, described by neighbors as a "mean one," was arrested Tuesday at his home near Whoville. He was held for questioning regarding the theft of Kwanzaa, a holiday that falls near Christmas and Hannukah.

Mayor Augustus Maywho cautioned that Grinch is not named as a suspect in the case, although he has a prior record for holiday theft.

The mayor indicated that Whoville will extradite The Grinch to proper authorities if sufficient evidence can be shown to link him to the crime.
