image for Brenda Lee Sues Obama In Royalty Dispute
Brenda Lee to Barrack Obama:"Kiss My ass, you credit-stealing slime ball, you!"

Washington,D.C.-When President Obama gets back from his world tour he'll have one more domestic problem to deal with. Singer Brenda Lee is suing the president over his repeated use of her trademark song "I'm Sorry" without paying royalties or even crediting her.

"I'm Sorry" which begins with the words, "I'm sorry, so sorry that I was such a fool", has been a main stay of the president's performances abroad, and the singer, now 64, was counting on the publicity and royalties she hoped to receive from his performances to finance a new album. When the checks failed to materialize she decided to file suit.

"When the younger president Bush went on tour he used Connie Francis' song ,"Who's Sorry Now", just a few times, in only two countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, and she got mega bucks from it.", Ms. Lee explained. "He (president Obama) must have sung my song a hundred times and what did I get? Bupkis! Well, you can kiss my butt, Barry! I'll see you in court!"
