image for Not Nice To Fool Santa Claus

It was a little over a year ago that Morris Lancaster of Santa Claus, Indiana told Spenser County police that someone had called him at his house that morning and told him they we the police and that they already knew he had hid a small bag of cocaine under his house as someone on stakeout had reported it in.

They then said that since his record wasn't all that bad so, if he would bring the bag of cocaine in himself, it would go a whole lot easier for him.

He immediately had taken the bag out and took it to the police and turned it in.

Surprised, the police said they had made no such call and arrested Lancaster for a drug bust.

To add insult to injury, the police found that 90% of the white powder was baby powder but there was enough cocaine left in it that Lancaster was still busted.

When asked if he knew who the person was who had called and really had seen him hide it under the house, Lancaster stated that he didn't know but was going to try to find out after his 12 month sentence was over.

Thirteen months later, Lancaster gets another call after a month back at his home.

"This is the Spenser County police and we know where you buried that drug addict. So...."

"Very funny Jailer Nelson!"
