image for Obama Daughters Caught in Labyrinth
President Barack Obama is very pleased with his two daughters.

Chicago, IL. The daughters of President Barack Obama, Malia and Sasha, had to be rescued out of a labyrinth by the fire brigade, when on a visit to Chicago this weekend.

When asked what they thought when lost in the labyrinth, the Obama daughters said they were only thinking of what their father taught them; to go forward, not thinking of what brought them into the mess. "Thinking of the past does not bring one forward, forward-thinking does."

The President commented that he was satisfied with his forward-thinking daughters. "It is reassuring that my daughters are concerned about the future, not the past," the President said.

An unnamed critic from Auburn, Alabama was worried if these Obama daughters would have a future, questioning if this kind of attitude would provide them jobs, arguing that knowing how you got into a labyrinth is the key to getting out of it.

Mr. Obama rejected this, and he answered that that would never be a problem. "They can always spend their way out of the economic trouble. If they don't have jobs, they can refurbish their own bathrooms and kitchens to get their personal economies going," the President said. Every economist I have ever spoken to or heard of argues that it is spending, not production or savings, that is the way to prosperity.

The fire brigade was forced to demolish the labyrinth in order to get the Obama girls out of there. Mr. Obama was pleased with this, as the fire brigade thus had work to do, and jobs were created for labyrinth builders.
