image for "Undecided" Voters Ask to Postpone US Election
So many choices, so little time!

A group representing "Undecided" voters has petitioned the Federal Election Commission to postpone the US election for a month, in order to give them more time to make up their minds.

Ann B. Valent, spokesperson for the group said "Although this electoral process has been going for two years, it has only been 8 weeks since the final convention when we had the full slate of candidates.

"We can't possibly accumulate enough information in that time to make an intelligent choice. We need at least another 4 weeks of watching 24 hour cable news before we can get a sense of where these guys stand."

The "Undecideds" who make up a consistent 7 - 10% of the electorate in polls have the power to put either candidate over the top, once they come to a decision.

When asked what day they would propose postponing the election to, Valent said, "Our group is split between Dec 4 and Dec 5. We were going to decide by a coin toss, but we couldn't agree on what denomination coin to use - in any case, we'll let you know once we decide - probably on Dec 6".
