Topeka Kansas - In what appears to be a desperate bid to regain the lead with voters John McCain has announced that he too was raised as a black boy in Kansas.
McCain says that his mother lived in the second floor of hotels near the train station here and like Obama had a black father. "Momma had lots of boyfriends that used to come upstairs, especially on weekends."
"Momma used to call them all John, she named me after them."
While McCain has struggled to succeed as a black man he has not forgotten his roots. A full-body white-skin graft has helped in being accepted but has caused him to walk stiffly and even now he has trouble raising his arms above his head, he calls it his "Cracker Wrapper."
Stitches from the skin graft have not entirely gone away and well publicized touch-ups to the painful operation have taken place.
Despite his strict upbringing by his mother, McCain has a weakness for the "Lay-Deez" and has trouble keeping track of where home is.
"I got lotsa cribs."
