Democratic nominee Barack Obama has announced he will meet with the economy himself even after the House of Representatives passed the bailout bill.

"If needed, I will suspend my campaign to personally sit down with the economy." Obama went on to state the reason, "We need to set up a timetable for this bailout to get the economy going again."

This does not come as much of a shock since the senator has promised to meet with any world leader. However, his opponent Senator McCain did comment on the proposal.

"Senator Obama just doesn't get it my friends. A meeting without pre-conditions would embolden the economy, not fix it. I have been to Wall Street, I know people there, and I know how it works."

McCain would also discuss the bracelet given to him by a mother of a creditor who recently lost his job.

"This is the reason why we need to come out as victors in this crisis," stated McCain while pointing to the white bracelet. Not to be out done, Senator Obama released an announcement with the story of an ex-Lehman Brothers worker whose mother gave him a bracelet that symbolized why America needs to get out of the current state of the economy.

Both candidates voted for the bailout plan, but each has taken steps to show how much they support it. John McCain later in his speech called the plan a surge that would break the current stranglehold. "Trust me, the last surge I supported worked pretty well."

Barack Obama would not comment on the surge bit of McCain's speech, but a meeting with the economy could be enough to keep him ahead in the polls.
