BANGOR, MAINE - Cindy Michaels a Bangor Maine TV anchorwoman who looks a lot like Sarah Palin has been receiving lots of nasty Emails and phone calls.
Ms. Michaels told CBS's Katie Couric, "Yes, it's true that I do resemble Sarah a little bit, but that's it."
Cindy went on to say, "Look, Couric I have never in my life cooked moose, much less shot or skinned one. I don't like ice fishing. I don't like ice hockey. I don't like Tina Fey. I'm allergic to Caribou. Salmon gives me hives. I don't have any Eskimo friends and I hate snow."
Katie sensed that Cindy was visibly shaken and she said "Okay now calm down their missy, remember you're an anchorwoman, you're not a prima donna and you're certainly no diva. Now I've got about seven more questions to ask you. So tell me are you going to vote for the McCain-Palin ticket?"
Cindy got extremely upset and yelled, "Okay little blondie, that's it, this interview is over. I am so disgusted with you and all of this Palin pabulum brouhaha right now that I am seriously thinking about quitting my job and moving to Cambodia, Topeka, or Costa Rica and here's your damn $10 Dairy Queen gift certifcate back!"
In a related story, the world's smallest zoo, the Mr. and Mrs. Pancho Villa Zoo in Zacatecas, Mexico was closed this past Tuesday and Wednesday because the polar bear was sick.
