image for Gay marriage in Calif. gets 'new' term
Mr. Richard Blower, one of the 1st to be 'garried' in California

Sacramento, CA - The state of California has recently allowed gays the right to be bonded in matrimony. The problem up to now has been gays wanting to use the traditional term of 'marraige'. Many on the religious right oppose gay people getting 'married'. The California legislature has now come up with a compromise. From now on, gays will have their own term.

Mr. Mike Hunthurtz and Mr. Richard Blower, at 12 noon, by the justice-of-the-peace in Corona, were the 1st couple to be officially 'garried'. (the term is a combination of 'gay' and 'married').

This set off a new group who are vehemently opposed to the new term. G.A.G. (or Gary's Against Gays), an anti-gay matrimony group has called for a protest this coming Saturday. Mr. Gary Coleman, the former child star and President of G.A.G. said, "This new term is idiotic! People getting garried? How would you like it if they used your name? Why not call it getting Orvised? We call on all straight Gary's across the nation to stand up against this atrocity by signing our online petition."
Gary Busey, Gary Oldman, Gary Shandling, and Gary (SpongeBob Squarepants' pet snail) are all set to make an appearance.

"Come on Gary, Indiana, get with it. Do you people really want to be known as the capital of gay marriage?" said Mr. Coleman.

The world will wait to see how this turns out.
