image for Michael Jackson To Buy Guantanamo Bay
Young children rejoice after hearing the news

Michael Jackson, the jaded pop star, is back in the headlines again after it emerged that he has made enquiries about the availability of Guantanemo Bay detention centre.

Jackson's lawyers Hadditt & Lostit confirmed in a statement that the ex-King of Moonwalking wants to buy the entire site, and turn it into a brand new theme park for children.

Mr Jackson has not been to see his prospective purchase, but has viewed aerial photographs, and some other photographs which show Muslim prisoners being shown 'a good time'.

Top military officials have agreed that the site would be perfect once the blood stains have been mopped up, and the cells cleaned out. The government would be prepared to sell the property, as seen, for as little as £50,000.

Spokesman Lt Mike Dowijki told reporters:

"The administration is keen to forget Guantanemo Bay and all who flailed in her."
