image for Wellesley College shuns Hillary Clinton
"I'd feel a lot better if at least a few Wellesley alumnae supported me!"

MASSACHUSETTS - Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton had been anticipating strong support from her alma mater Wellesley College. Hillary Rodham was valedictorian of her class of 1969 at Wellesley and was the first student commencement speaker at the prestigious women's liberal arts college near Boston.

At her graduation, Hillary proclaimed, "The challenge now is to practice politics as the art of making what appears to be impossible, possible." Years later, she made good on her challenge by helping her husband, Bill Clinton, become president of the United States. But now, given her unenthusiastic support from Wellesley College, Hillary Clinton is finding it nearly impossible to find even a few votes for her own campaign on the Wellesley College campus.

The chairman of the English Department is supporting Joe Biden instead. "During debates, his answers are more concise."

An art professor is supporting Dennis Kucinich. "His wife is a real work of art."

A professor of languages is betting on Bill Richardson because, "he speaks Spanish!"

Hillary does have at least one enthusiastic supporter from her old alma mater: Bailey Childers '05 is working on the Clinton Iowa campaign. "If it weren't for Bailey," says Ms. Clinton, "I wouldn't stand a chance of becoming president."
