"To spay or not to spay" airs Dec.1st on Animal Planet

Hollywood, Ca. - In the tradition of MSNBC's "Hardball", the Animal Planet has produced a new talk show due out this winter, called "Hairball".

"Cats and dogs will host the show and tackle a variety of hot topics. It has long been held that cats and dogs enjoy television and have their own DVD's and videos, such as 'Video Catnip' and 'Bone Improvement," a spokesperson for the show reports. "This is another way cats and dogs can interact with the media and express their concerns. Hamsters and other small rodents might also find the show interesting."

"To spray or not to spray? That is the question," the first show of the series, is scheduled to air December 1st. Other subjects to be covered in the future include; the pro/cons of de-clawing, a proposed animal bill of rights, and microchips as a form of pet I.D.

Possible guest hosts? Lassie, Troy the Wonder dog, (a double amputee who operates his own mechanical cart.) Morris and Felix the Cat.

The show sounds like a "must see" for both animals and their humans.

Please note: My gray tabby cat Abby (short for Abby Road) wished to register her own complaints about the newest addition to her life… a red safety collar equip with a bell:

"My people put this bell on me so they can hear what I'm doing downstairs at night. The damn thing is driving me crazy… I sneak up on the 'good' chair… ding, ding, ding. I jump up on the cupboard… ding, ding, ding. I beat the crap out of the other cats… DING, DING, DING… It's 'Big Brother' all over again…"

Make susan allen-rosario's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
