Book him, Danno.

Orange County, California (The Scallion) - Dick Cheney (code named 'ANGLER') ordered a Gestapo unit to track down Al Gore III and to plant contraband on him.

The young man had been attending a Baptist church camp in the foothills of southern California, but he became suspicious when one of the camp counselors used "the ANGLER" and "der F├╝hrer" interchangeably with "our Lord" while leading group prayer.

Upon realizing that he was in danger, young Gore made his way to a secluded spot and released a homing pigeon that carried a note explaining his predicament. He then made his getaway (or so he thought) in a hybrid vehicle that he found idling in the parking lot.

The former Vice President's son did not realize that he would soon enter Orange County -- a Republican party stronghold under Cheney's full control. Once Gore crossed the county line, a disturbance in 'The Force' alerted Cheney to his presence and his men quickly descended on the fleeing son-of-a-Democrat.

Pundits believe that this could be another 'Empire Strikes Back' scenario in retaliation for disparaging remarks made by former VP Gore about current VP Cheney.

Given recent indicators on presidential candidates (i.e. Al Gore, George W. Bush, Barack Obama), miscellaneous drug contact could actually help young Gore if he ever does decide to run for office like his father.
