APE Line - The American Association of Cross Dressers announced today that they are adopting the new Paul McCartney song "Vintage Clothes" as their Anthem.
The AACD's main offices are located in aging theater building off Broadway. So far off in fact it could earn the term "Off Off Off Off Broadway". When we entered we were greeted by an orange haired man in a dress and wearing way too much mascara. He lead us to the President's office.
"We heard this song and we thought it was darling," said Percival Sweetwater the current AACD President, "Of course we would change a few things, the title for instance would just haaaave to be "Womens Clothes". Then it would go like this: (singing, Percival has a rather masculine voice) WHAT WE ARE IS WHAT WE ARE AND WHAT WE WEAR IS WOMEN'S CLOTHES."
The man who greeted us is dancing and snapping his fingers, but stops abruptly when Percival stabs him with a look. "We of course are in the process of asking for official permission to use the song," said Percival, "But informally we have plans to use it already."
A MACCA spokes person when reached for comment said, "Well of course the request will be considered. Mr. McCartney has a long standing tradition of treating all requests fairly, or in this case fairily eh? But hopefully Mr Sweetwater isn't holding his breath, because these things do take time."
"I am holding my breath", replied Sweetwater when the quote was relayed to him,"I'm turning blue as we speak. Now wait that would clash with the orange I'm wearing, scratch that."
