image for No one farts at Google

With various organisations and nations setting goals for reducing their carbon footprint over a period of years or even decades, Google is getting stuck in with a plan to achieve carbon neutrality in six months...

"Any employee that 'farts' during working hours, and we are talking 18 hour days here, will be immediately banished to a locked windowless room for the remainder of their shift. If this happens 3 times in a week, they will be eliminated." said Melissa Swank, VP of internal bad odors at the Calf. Mountain View company.

"We are too far up a mountain to emit bad odors into the atmosphere. You wouldn't expect the congregation of a Catholic church to behave in this manner," she huffed.

'Fart' monitors are being installed.
