image for Nicole Richie's Court Case in Peril Over Paris Hilton Debacle
The scales of justice lean to one side

Any celebrities or public personalities with cases pending against them better plan on packing their bags for incarceration in response to Paris Hilton's early release. Speculation is, prosecutors will be over compensating their cases, loaded for bear, with high profile personalities.

This is the anticipated response to Paris Hilton's early release and preferential treatment for simply being, Paris Hilton. Attorneys are concerned their clients won't get a fair shake because the prosecutors will be trying to make an example out of all public personalities as a backlash to public outrage over the unfair justice system. No prosecutor worth his or her salt is going to want to be given the reputation as a push over, blinded by stardom.

Nicole Richie's, whose court date is nearing, attorney said, "Do you think my client is going to get a fair shake now? There's no way a district attorney is going to offer any kind of deal to my client at this point. They're going to be out for blood, especially in my clients case."

Nicole Richie was arrested for going north in the southbound lane of a Los Angeles freeway. When questioned Richie admitted to smoking pot and taking Vicodin.

Court sources say, if you're a celebrity you better watch your P's and Q's because the system is going to be eating rich, spoiled, in the spot light people for breakfast. Someone's gotta pay.
