George Bush Evesdropping

CCN (Crazy Cal News) - In March 2004, President George W. Bush intervened to avert a "crisis" over the National Security Agency's domestic eavesdropping program after Director Robert S. Mueller III of the F.B.I, Attorney General John Ashcroft, and other senior Justice Department aides all threatened to resign, according to the testimony of a former deputy attorney general on Tuesday. President Bush allowed the evesdropping to continue without Justice Department approval.

"We don't need no stinking approval," said President Bush, "Besides, I like evesdropping. It's fun. My toy Barney doll and I do it all the time. I hear there's rumors on the Internets that we're going to have a draft. The truth of that matter is, if you listen carefully, Saddam would still be in power if he were the president of the United States, and the world would be a lot better off. I also heard that too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

Reporter CalJennings asked President Bush if he could clarify his statement about evesdropping, to which Mr. Bush replied, "I think it's very important for the American President to mean what he says. That's why I understand that the enemy could misread what I say. That's why I try to be as clearly I can."
