Michael Moore gets fiancial support from his latest fans at Al Jazeera TV

Washington, DC - Currently under investigation by the US government for possibly violating travel restrictions to the communist country of Cuba, Michael Moore, famed filmmaker, is expected to incur substantial legal fees in his defense. In order to help offset those costs, Al Jazeera TV announced it would hold a save "The Beautiful American -- Michael Moore" Telethon to help raise money to fight off any forthcoming federal charges.

The Academy Award Winning and controversial director, writer and producer of many well known films like, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Bowling for Columbine, Michael Moore has developed quite a following throughout the world and in particular, the Middle East and Persia in the recent years subsequent to the war on terror.

Moore even has a growing fan base in Afghanistan, "Although DVD players are hard to come by, still forbidden in many parts of this land," said a devout Afghani Michael Moore fan. "His films criticizing the Bush Administration are so popular they are often acted out in open-air markets by street performers using colorful hand puppets and brightly lit car bombs."

The telethon is expected to raise millions but not much, if any, of the proceeds are actually expected to reach the famed filmmaker as much of it is expected to be donated to various charity groups or funneled off to different competing terrorist factions.
